What started as  5 guys in the wine and spirits industry getting together to stretch their musical muscles and jam a bit after work is now one of the best 90's rock cover bands in Chicagoland and Northern Illinois.  With a setlist full of 90's and early 2000's alternative and pop rock hits, The Rack and The Riddler provide a high energy rock show that will definitely get an audience up and moving and singing along. With both strong male and female lead vocalists, The Rack and The Riddler cover the gamut of 90's hits from bands like No Doubt and Green Day, to Alanis Morissette and the Foo Fighters.  The band's name, well that comes from their wine and spirits beginnings.  "The rack and the riddler" refers to a centuries old champagne making process and they thought it sounded cool, and there you have it.

The Rack and The Riddler started as 5 guys in the wine and spirits business who wanted to get together to stretch their musical muscles and jam a bit after work.  Even though they were from 5 different backgrounds with very different tastes in music, they realized they had great chemistry and really enjoyed playing together.  After some slight adjustments in their lineup and settling on their favorite era of rock music, the 90's (and the stuff around the edges) they have become one of the best 90's cover bands in Chicagoland and Northern Illinois.

Featuring both strong male and female lead vocalists, The Rack and The Riddler cover the gamut of 90's hits from bands like No Doubt and Green Day, to Alanis Morissette and the Foo Fighters and fun stuff around the edges like All American Rejects and K.T. Tunstall.

The band has played all across Chicago and Northern Illinois, from Guaranteed Rate Field, City Winery, and the Chicago Gourmet food and wine festival in Millenium Park, to some of the best live music venues in the city and suburbs.

The Rack and The Riddler prefer to play full blown, fun, plugged in rock shows, but are also available for acoustic shows, private parties, corporate events, and even wine and music pairings.

The band's name, well that comes from their wine and spirits beginnings.  "The rack and the riddler" refers to a centuries old process used in the production of champagne and they thought it sounded cool, and there you have it.
